On April 30, 2026, the FCC voted to ban all test labs physically located in China and Hong Kong from the US equipment authorization process, a ruling that puts over 126 labs and roughly 75% of global electronics testing capacity on a two-year phase-out clock. For manufacturers, importers, and brands selling consumer electronics in the US market, the clock is now running. Products currently being certified through China-based labs will need a new testing pathway before the deadline, and the window to act is shorter than it appears.

In this webinar, QIMA's regulatory expert Benedict-Morilla Molina will explain exactly what the FCC's reciprocity rule means, which labs retain authorization and which do not, and what a practical compliance migration looks like for businesses currently relying on China-based testing. We will walk through the enforcement timeline, your options across MRA-protected labs globally, and how QIMA's regulatory expertise can help you navigate the transition.
