Understanding REACH requires a focus on the specific chemicals that are regulated and restricted under the regulation, as well as a high-level understanding of the other branches of the European chemical management program.
REACH Annex XVII Entry 72 was updated in 2020 and regulates 33 chemicals in apparel and footwear products that are considered carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic for reproduction. In addition to apparel and footwear, products such as textiles toys, fancy dress and costumes, watch straps, and upholstery in furniture and juvenile products can also be considered within the scope of Entry 72.
This webinar aims to provide you with the information you need to know to ensure your products are in compliance with REACH and Entry 72 so you can avoid the risk of recalls and reputational damage.
