Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) have become a global concern due to their harmful impact on the environment and public health. While PFASs are commonly used in various consumer products because of their water and oil repellent properties, companies are working to find alternatives that don't compromise the functionality of the products. This has resulted in regulations and sustainability efforts to manage and reduce the use of PFASs.
Philipp Brüning has been working in the testing industry for 12 years with expertise in food chemistry, contaminants and chemical analysis. Philipp engaged in various positions in prominent testing institutes before joining QIMA and have rich experience in test method optimization, lab operation and chemical analysis. Philipp holds a PhD in Food Chemistry from Hamburg University
